DA Enhancement to govt Employees
Dearness allowance will be given by the State Governments to their employees. DA will be announced at a standard percentage of ration with respect to the DA Announced by the Central Government to their employees.
Present DA Ratio/Percentage to the AP & Telangana employees is 0.524% from Central DA.
The arrears of the Dearness Allowance sanctioned by the State Government will be paid 90% of cash to the employees who comes under CPS(Contributory Pension Scheme) and the remaining 10% will be credited in their PRAN Accounts.
The arrears of the Dearness Allowance will be Credited to GPF Accounts who appointed before 01st November 2004.(i.e. Who hold GPF Accounts)

However, in the case of employees who are due to retire in the next 4 months, the arrears of Dearness Allowance shall be drawn and paid in cash as the employees due to retire on superannuation are exempted from making any subscription to the General Provident Fund during the last four months of service.

The Drawing Officer shall prefer the bill on the Pay & Accounts Officer, Hyderabad, or the Pay & Accounts Officer/ the Assistant Pay & Accounts Officer of the Telangana Works Accounts Service or the Treasury Officer, as the case may be, for the amount of arrears for the period from 1st of July, 2018 to 31th of May, 2019 to be adjusted to the General Provident Fund Account in the case of an employee who has opened a General Provident Fund Account.
The Audit Officers (Pay & Accounts Officer, Deputy Directors of District Treasuries and Pay & Accounts Officer of Telangana Works Accounts Service, etc.) are requested not to admit the pay bills of the Office concerned for the month of June, 2019 unless a certificate is enclosed to the bills to the effect that the arrears of difference in Dearness Allowance for the period from 1st of July, 2018 to 31st of May, 2019, are drawn and credited to the General Provident Fund Account.
