The Comity of 28 Sainik Schools are premier educational institutions in the country imparting Military oriented education to the Cadets. They are administrated by Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi. These schools are the brain child of Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the Nation’s first Prime Minister and Late Shri VK Krishna Menon, the then Defence Minister.   The mission of these schools is to prepare the cadets academically, physically and mentally to enter the portals of the National Defence Academy, Pune, and thus encouraging them to don the uniform of the Military Services and carry the arms for the nation. In pursuance of the mission, these schools have set the following objectives.

ADMISSION FOR CLASSES VI & IX : 2020-2021 IN SAINIK SCHOOL KORUKONDA, (VIZIANAGARAM DIST)

Aim:To prepare the boys academically, mentally and physically for entry into National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla. Applications (online only) are invited for admission in classes VI & IX for Boys only who qualify the below mentioned eligibility conditions for appearing in All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for the academic year 2020-21. The AISSEE will be on OMR based system which have Multiple Choice Questions with four options.

Reservation for admission in to sainik schoool korukonda & kalikiri

15% of total seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes and 7.5% seats for Scheduled

Tribes.

Out of the remaining, 67% of the seats will be reserved for boys of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana domicile. Balance 33% seats will be thrown open to boys from other States and Union Territories in the ratio of their male population. 25% of the seats are reserved for children of defence personnel including ex-servicemen. In case of non-availability of sufficient candidates in SC/ST Category vacancies, those will be filled by candidates from General Category.
