Telangana Ku Haritha Haram
Haritha Pathasahala - Haritha Telangana
Telangana Ku Haritha Haram program will be taken up in the focused way in all Educational Institutions in the state on 25-08-2018 under the campaign "Haritha Pathasahala - Haritha Telangana" as the case may be.
Program Schedule:
- 9:30am to 10:30am Rally from designated place tothe institution premises
- 10:30am to 11:30am planting activity inside the institution premises
- 11:30am to 12:30am Meeting and awareness builiding regarding Haritha Haram
Activities:
- Observe Green Day on 25.08.218 and Slogan HAITHA PATASHALA-HARITHA TELANAGNA
- Constitute a Green Brigade with Students and Teachers to Protect the Plant in Every School
- To give proirity for Block Plantations wherever feasible
- Take up multi row plantation in 4 to 5 rows all along the compound wall if the Block Plantation is not feasible
- As far possible only Tall Plants are to be selected and they should be preferable drought resistatant
- Each Student and Teacher should Adopt a Plant
- Coordinate with Gram Panchayath Rakshana Committe and SMC and involve in the Plantation Programme
- The HMs of the schools have to contactthe concerned MPDOs or the field assistatnt to generate the estimates and get the work done through MPDOs int eh concerned mandals
- The funds for transportation of seedlings will be provided by Rural Development Dept under MGNREGS Scheme.
- Forest Dept has organized the training for the School Education Dept
- It has also constituted Green Brigades in each Educational Institutions to look after the plants planted.
