AP DSC-2018 TET cum TRT schedule 

A Tentative Schedule of conducting the Teacher Recruitment Test in Andhra Pradesh AP DSC-2018 TET cum TRT has released.

METHOD OF RECRUITMENT

1. The Recruitment shall be through a selection process consisting of Written Test and other
2. criteria stipulated by the Government from time to time.
3. For Principals the total marks shall be 100 for the Written Test (TRT).
4. For Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) the total marks shall be 100 for the Written Test (TRT)
5. For Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) the total marks shall be 100, out of which 80 marks
6. shall be for the Written Test (TRT) and remaining 20 marks for APTET (20%) Weightage
7. For Physical Education Teachers (PETs) the total marks shall be 100, out of which 50 marks shall be for the Written Test (TRT), 30 marks shall be for the Physical Efficiency Test and remaining 20 marks for APTET (20%) Weightage.
8. For Craft and Art teachers the total marks shall be 100 for the Written Test (TRT) only.
9. For Music Teachers the total marks shall be 100, out of which 70 marks shall be for the Written Test (TRT) and remaining 30 Marks shall be for the Skill Test.
10. It will be purely based on merit cum roster system as per the existing provisions being
11. adopted by Government of Andhra Pradesh.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY:

1. A candidate for selection to the posts of Teachers shall possess the academic and
2. professional / training qualifications as follows:-
3. Must be fully qualified for the post applied for and in possession of all Certificates as on the last date prescribed in the notification for submission of applications.
4. Must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (or) other equivalent certificates recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
5. Must possess Academic degrees of Universities recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).
6. Teacher Education Courses recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
7. Distance Mode courses offered by Universities and Deemed Universities recognized by Joint Committee comprising University Grants Commission (UGC), Distance Education Council (DEC), All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and with jurisdiction to operate such courses in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Note:- The candidates who have already qualified in earlier APTETs shall compulsorily write the TET-cum-TRT Test for appointment as Secondary Grade Teacher in Government / Zilla Praja Parishad / Mandal Praja Parishad / Municipality/Tribal Welfare Schools. For this 20% weightage, candidates will be having option either to consider 20% of earlier TET scores or 20% of present marks whichever is higher. The TET-cum-TRT marks will be valid for this particular recruitment only.
