Telangana ICET Notification for
admission in to Master of Business Administration which is well known as MBA and Master of Computer Applications which is well known as MCA. For Admission in to MBA and MCA courses in all Educational Institutions located in Telangana state, The State Government of Telangana (Telangana State Council for Higher Education) will conduct Entrance Test named TS ICET. Notification for TS ICET will be released in the month of February every year. Candidates who desire to join MBA and MCA courses are requested to fill the online applications made available in the official website of Telangana State Council for Higher Education.
In Telangana state Telangana ICET
Notification will be issued by Telangana State Higher Education. This time TS
ICET Entrance Test will be conducted by Kakatiya University on behalf of
Telangana State Council for Higher Education(TSCHE).
TS ICET - 2020 (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test) is for admission into M.B.A. and M.C.A. courses of all the Universities in Telangana State and their affiliated colleges for the academic year 2020-21. This test is being conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. Kakatiya University has successfully conducted ICET in 2005, 2006, 2012, 2013, 2014 and TS ICET - 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. The Telangana State Integrated
Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) Notification will be released in the month of February
every year. TS ICET official website will be operational from the month of
March in order to make an arrangement of submission of Online Applications by
the candidates for Telangana ICET Entrance Test. In Telangana, TS ICET Notification released on
March 6th, 2020. Online registrations or online applications will be
started from the month of March.
The Chairman of the TSCHE has announced that more than 75000 students are expected to take the TS ICET Entrance examination this year. The convener of the TS ICET said that the students can avail the facility of online application and downloading of Hall Tickets from the
official webstie and No manual application will be considered.

Minimum Educational Qualification requisite for appearing TS ICET entrance Test
Master of Business Administration (MBA) course
should have passed a Bachelor Degree of minimum 3-years duration.
Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course
should have passed BCA/B.Sc/B.Com/B.A with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at
Graduation Level.
As per the details given in the
notification the Candidates who planned to appear TS ICET are instructed to
apply for TS ICET online from 9th March 2020 as the online
registration will start from 9th March 2020.
The Last date for applying online
for TS ICET Entrance Test without late fee is 30-04-2020.
Due to COVID-19 Pandemic the
Government of Telangana i.e. Telangana State Council for Higher Education is
announced that the last date for online apply is extended upto 05th
May 2020.

The Eligibility criteria for Admission in to MBA and MCA and to appear TS ICET Entrance Test
The candidates should be an
Indian National and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid
down in the Telangana State Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission)
Order, 1974 as amended up to date (as per G.O. Ms. No. 25, dated: 19-03-2004
& G.O. Ms.No.108, dated 3-7-2005, dated 30-7-2005 and its amendments and
G.O. Ms. No.22, dated 27-07-2019 of Higher Education Department).
2. The candidates other than
Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.
a) The candidates seeking
admission in to:
Master of Business Administration
(MBA) course should have passed a Bachelor Degree of minimum 3-years duration.
Master of Computer Applications
(MCA) course should have passed BCA/B.Sc/B.Com/B.A with Mathematics at 10+2
level or at Graduation Level.
b) The qualifying Degree obtained
by Distance Mode Program/ Open Distance Learning (ODL) within the jurisdiction
of University should have recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and
DEC/DEB.
c) The candidates who are
appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to
appear for TSICET-2020
d) Admission into any college
depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.
e) Qualifying marks in
TSICET-2020 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.
Mere qualification in the
entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into MBA/MCA
course unless the candidate:
i. Appears for Counseling at the
notified Centers.
ii. Applies in response to the
admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for
part-time\evening\distance mode).
iii. Satisfies all the
eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned.
