The election commission of India has enabled the services of downloading of our voter id card from their official website. The citizen of India can download their voter id e-EPIC which is a digital card in their mobiles. 

Earlier Election Commission has provided a paper voter id cards to the voters of India. But in the digital era of Information Technology made the Election Commission to facilitate the digital e-EPIC from their website.

The system of providing voter ID cards has started in 1990s by the Election Commission to avoid the rigging and duplicate polling in elections. 

The Voters of India can download their e-EPIC in mobiles from 25th January 2021.

Who is eligible to download e-EPIC ?

All the voters of India who have a valid EPIC Number and who have linked their mobile number with their voter id in online can download their voter id card digital version as pdf file.

Step by Step procedure on How to download the e-EPIC ?

1) Register/Login in Voter Portal 

2) Click on create account

3) Enter email ID or 10 Digit Mobile Number

4) Click on Send OTP

5) Enter the OTP & Click on Verify

6) In the Next screen create a password your self & Tick the Terms and Conditions tick box and  click on Create account

7) Your Account will be created successfully

8) In the Next scree Enter Name and Surname, Select State and Gender and Click on Submit

9) From menu click on Download e-EPIC

10) Enter the EPIC number or Reference Number

11) An OTP will be sent to the Registered Mobile Number

12) Enter the OTP.

13) Then Click on Download e-EPIC

14) If Mobile Number not registered in Enroll, Click on e-KYC to complete the KYC.
