Sainik school entrance exam AISSEE admission application details
Sainik Schools Society (SSS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Defense, Govt of India. The Society runs Sainik Schools. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE. Sainik Schools prepare Cadets to join the National Defense Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla (Pune), Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and other Training Academies for officers.
Admission is based on the performance of candidates in the All-India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE). The admission of candidates will be carried out on the basis of e counselling as per rank secured by the candidates in the School wise, gender wise, category wise(Home State and Out Side State) Merit List of AISSEE, medical fitness approved by competent medical authorities and verification of original documents.
Minimum 40% of the seats under the Sainik School stream in approved NSSs will be filled on the basis of the rank secured in the All India Merit List of AISSEE. Domicile/Category are not considered for this Merit List. Candidates can opt for any NSS in India, at the time of counselling.
Upto 60% of the seats in NSSs will be filled by those who are currently studying in any of the approved NSSs. They will be filled on the basis of rank secured in School wise Merit List. Domicile/Category are not considered for this Merit List.

Age Eligibility for admission in 6th Class:
Age: Between 10-12 years of age
Age Eligibility for admission in 9th Class:
Age: Between 13-15 years of age.
Qualifying Requirements for Sainik School Admission
Min. 25% marks in each section and 40% marks in the aggregate. This does not apply to SC, ST candidates.
Who will conduct the sainik school entrance examination AISSEE
AISSEE covers admission to Class VI and IX of Sainik Schools and Class VI of approved New
Sainik Schools for the academic year next academic year.
Candidates can apply for AISSEE online only on the website https://aissee.nta.nic.in. The
Application Form other than online mode will not be accepted.
AISSEE will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
The responsibility of NTA is limited to inviting online applications for AISSEE, conduct of the
AISSEE, processing and declaration of result and providing the merit list to the SSS.

2) SC/ST: Rs 500/-
Mode of Fee Payment is Online.
What is the Question Paper pattern of AISSEE sainik School Entrance Test:
Mode of Examination: Paper pencil on OMR answer sheets for admission to both Class VI
and Class IX.

A candidate can choose any of the above languages irrespective of school applied or.
Option of medium of Question Paper should be carefully chosen while filling in the Application Form. The option once exercised cannot be changed.
Candidates opting for English or Hindi would be provided bilingual Exam Booklet (i.e., in English and Hindi). Candidates opting for regional languages would be provided Exam Booklet in the language opted by the candidate in their application form and English.
In case of any ambiguity in translation/construction of a question in the exam, its English version (except for the Language section questions) shall be treated as final and the decision of NTA shall be final in this regard. Candidates passing in AISSEE would be eligible for admission, irrespective of the medium of the examination, subject to meeting other eligibility criteria.

Candidate’s left-hand thumb impression. (file size 10 kb -50 kb) in JPG format. (In case of any eventuality of left thumb being unavailable, right hand thumb impression may be used)

Domicile Certificate
Caste/Community/ Category Certificate( if applicable)
Certificate of service (for Defense category-serving) and PPO for Ex-servicemen, if applicable.
Certificate from the Principal certifying that the applicant is studying in the approved New Sainik School.
